Interface CEM expands European presence
EASTLEIGH, England Advanced Input Systems is expanding its European presence with an office covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Werner Gamon is joining the company to take responsibility for German-speaking markets, and to coordinate technical and commercial resources for the full range of Advanced Input’s custom-designed complex user input subsystems. “
Advanced Input Systems enables OEMs to outsource complex user input subsystems providing access to the latest technologies including keyboard, touch-screen, trackerball or more advanced proprietary technologies.
As well as offering local support for custom design activity, the new office will also provide access to Advanced Input’s ‘Advanced ThruPut’ IP-based programme for accelerated prototyping of custom interface electronics.
Advanced Input Systems is part of the interface technologies group of Esterline Corporation of Bellevue, Washington, which acquired Ringwood-based Penny and Giles computer products division in 2002.
