Interpeak's IPLITE for the OSEck real time operating system will aid developers using DSP's such as Motorola's StarCore family.

DSP's such as Motorola's MSC8101 contain a built in Ethernet interface, making them suited for networking applications. Interpeak has used this technology and created IPLITE as a drop-in TCP/IP solution for the OSEck RTOS.

Support of both IPv6 and IPv4 as well as the availability of add-on security protocols such as IPSec and IKE will allow systems built on IPLITE and MSC8101 to benefit from the full potential of networking services.
