IP developer sets up advisory board

LONDON Evatronix SA has set up a technical advisory board to help it take the right direction for product development and use of available technology.
The board includes Carl Das, Ph.D., director of ASIC Services at IMEC; Jean Mermet, Ph.D. – chief scientist of SAFEtronix; Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Rosenstiel, professor for computer engineering at the University of T¼bingen, and Richard Tobias, vice president of operations and Engineering at Samplify Systems Inc.
Evatronix (Bielsko-Biala, Poland) develops electronic virtual components (IP cores) along with complementary software and supporting development environments. The company also provides electronic design services.
“We expect our Technical Advisory Board members to supervise the strategic technology direction for our products and services,” said Wojciech Sakowski, Evatronix President and CEO. “The TAB will provide us with a mix of third-party consulting services and insider views.Their renowned expertise in all aspects of successful IP development, SoC design and chip manufacturing will undoubtedly increase the value of Evatronix products and services.”
