LONDON ECosCentric-certified ports of Jungo's Embedded USB software stacks have been made to eCosCentric's range of eCosPro developer's Kits. Jungo's on-the-go, host and device stacks are compliant with the USB 2.0 & 1.1 standards, providing mature and fully-featured implementations of the Universal Serial Bus standard protocols and device classes.
The partnership with Jungo (San Jose, CA) to provide the USB stacks on eCosPro will allow allows ECosCentric (Cambridge, U.K.) customers to choose from a range of pre-validated class and device drivers. Popular USB silicon implementations from vendors such as Philips, Cypress, Atmel and Synopsys, as well as standard OHCI, UHCI and EHCI interfaces are supported.
The Jungo USB stacks are portable and may be adapted for proprietary and custom implementations. Pairing these well documented, modular and small memory footprint stacks with eCosPro provides a platform for bringing high-performance and efficient interconnected devices to market quickly.
eCosPro is a stable, fully tested and supported version of the eCos open source real-time operating system and RedBoot bootstrap firmware. The eCosPro Developer's Kit is a distribution of eCosPro which includes prebuilt eCos host tools and compiler toolchains, full documentation, an Eclipse-based integrated development environment to streamline eCos application development and a libstdc++ implementation for selected architectures.
