Link Microtek adds MMIC specialist
LONDON Link Microtek, the Basingstoke-based supplier of RF and microwave products, has appointed Dilip Panchal as sales engineer for the company's portfolio of surface-mount MMIC components.
The appointment follows a major reorganisation of Link's sales force, whichwas recently divided into three groups covering instruments, components andhigh-volume SMT products.
Panchal is an experienced RF and microwave design engineer, having worked on a variety of development projects over the last 16 years for companies such as Fresnel UK, P Com UK, Nera, Continental Microwave and MarconiInstruments.
As the company's high-volume SMT specialist, Panchal will handle keyaccounts throughout the UK. He will primarily have an applicationengineering role, assisting customers with design-ins of the TriQuint andHittite ranges of surface-mount MMIC components. In addition, he will beable to provide advice on the manufacture of custom products usingTriQuint's MMIC foundry service.
