LONDON McObject, developer of the eXtremeDB in-memory embedded database, and Logic Technology, distributor of embedded development tools and embedded software, based in the Netherlands, have expanded Logic Technology's role as a distributor of McObject's technology, adding two large European markets to Logic Technology's territory.
The agreement gives Logic Technology exclusive rights to market and re-sell McObject's software in the United Kingdom and in Scandinavia (Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland). Logic Technology previously had exclusive McObject distribution only in the Benelux countries, which it retains.
Steve Graves, McObject co-founder and CEO said, ” By working more closely together, McObject and Logic technology will identify and address more customer data management challenges in the UK and Scandinavia, and thus gain market share,”
Logic Technology is increasing the personnel and other resources devoted to selling eXtremeDB and related products as well as assigning a product manager to improve communication, build up expertise and create demand for McObject's software.
Leon Houwen, managing director of Logic Technology, said, “McObject's eXtremeDB High Availability fault tolerant data management solution shows particular promise in telecom equipment manufacturing, and the eXtremeWS tiny-footprint Web server offers a compelling tool for efficiently monitoring and controlling a wide range of embedded devices,”
