LONDON Micromark C&CD has signed a distribution agreement with EnerSys Europe, a supplier of re-chargeable valve regulated lead acid batteries.
Micromark C&CD will promote EnerSys’ Genesis range of batteries which can be used in back-up power solutions for mission critical applications including medical, security, building services, telecom equipment and industrial controls. Tim Parker, product specialist at Micromark C&CD. “The Genesis range is highly regarded by system integrators and end users world-wide, and will strengthen Micromark C&CD’s position as a complete solutions provider.” EnerSys has 25% of the total world market for stored energy solutions including motive power and reserve power sectors, currently valued at some $3.4 billion. As well as manufacturing facilities in South America, North America and China, EnerSys operates manufacturing bases throughout Europe, in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Poland.
