MoD gives e2v £5.7million contract

LONDON — E2v (Chelmsford, England) has been awarded a U.K. Ministry of Defence (MOD) contract worth a total of £5.7million to supply defense electronic subsystems, which use the company's electronic tube technology.

Phase one of the contract, worth £2million, was placed in June of this year, with phase two, worth £3.7million, now secured.

Deliveries against the contract are scheduled to begin immediately, with completion within 2 months.
