LONDON Graham Brock has become President for Europe of Molex replacing Werner Fichtner who retired at the end of June 2005.
Brock has been with Molex for over 28 years working in several international regions and was previously VP sales and marketing for Europe.
Brock said, “Being an integral part of Molex’s strong global management team is an exciting proposition, and together with the newly restructured European organisation, I believe we are in great position to deliver even better service and support to our customers.”
Molex’s other organisational changes in Europe include 5 new promotions, effective from 1 July. Henry Furniss, who joined Molex Spain in 1994 and was previously European Distribution Director, will now be responsible for all sales and marketing activity in Europe as European Sales & Marketing Director.
Alfred Lipp is promoted to the newly created position of European Regional Sales Manager and will be responsible for all revenue generated through the European sales offices. Lipp has over 14 year’s sales experience from within Molex, Germany, latterly as General Sales Manager Germany. Taking over his responsibilities is Thomas Beyer who has been promoted to General Sales Manager Germany/Eastern Europe from his previous role as Sales Manager Molex Germany, Austria and Hungary.
Greg Faughnan is promoted to European Distribution Manager, taking responsibility for distribution activities across Europe, developing the European distribution strategy and interfacing with Molex’s partners. Joining Molex in 1982, Faughnan held his previous role as General Sales Manager, UK since 1992.
To take on full responsibility for the UK and Ireland Gordon Graham, who has been with the company since 1999, is promoted to General Sales Manager UK/Ireland.
