LONDON Pace Micro Technology plc (Saltaire, England) has recruited Richard Slee to be president of its Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC) regions.
Slee joins Pace from Motorola where he was vice president and European sales director of its networks division, responsible for the sales, engineering and technical functions. At Pace he will lead a 140-plus strong team of sales and engineering professionals specialising in EMEA and APAC platforms.
Pace says Slee's role will be to develop its business across the important EMEA and APAC regions as more markets move to high definition formats and adopt personal video recording (PVR) technology. Before joining Motorola Slee was managing director of Phones International Group and managing director at Dextra, part of the Caudwell Group.
