LONDON MPC Data is to provide development support for Texas Instruments DaVinci video technology in the EMEA region.
Frank Breeze (left), Commercial Operations Manager and primary DaVinci technology contact at MPC Data (Bradford-on-Avon, England), said, “The DaVinci technology is the perfect choice for any company developing a display device. The platform’s scalability, integration and compatibility allow the rapid development of products. Every month a product is delayed in getting to market means developers lose a greater proportion of potential revenue. Using DaVinci technology will vastly simplify the design cycle and decrease challenges that often occur when using proprietary hardware and software.”
MPC Data has a number of years experience in supporting TI’s existing technology, developing innovative solutions and is also knowledgeable, both in the development of digital video applications and in the embedded software market.
It also has experience in developing for ARM CPU cores across many commercial markets and knowledge-base in areas such as operating systems, device drivers, communications software, instrumentation, machine control and data acquisition.
The DaVinci technology is an integrated collection of hardware, software and tools that has been introduced by TI to enable quick and simplified development of highly compatible video applications.
