The EnOcean Alliance, which promotes automation solutions for sustainable buildings, is to hold its first open house exhibition and two free of charge CIBSE Accredited CPD Courses for building professionals on May 20 in London.
Ten member companies of the EnOcean Alliance including Beckhoff, Distech Controls, EnOcean, Leviton, MK Electric, Wago, Wieland and Thermokon, will be showing energy efficient solutions for green buildings ”
“This is the first time we've had so many EnOcean Alliance members all together under one roof in the UK,” said Graham Martin, EnOcean Alliance Chairman and CEO. “To make the most of this situation, and to leverage the combined expertise of all the companies, we decided to hold an Open House Exhibition.
A broad range of interoperable wireless products will be on display enabling attending specifiers, installers, integrators, contractors, consultants and architects to get practical experience and advice from EnOcean Alliance member companies on how to save energy and carbon footprint in existing and new buildings.
Using self-powered wireless switches and sensors enabled by the EnOcean standard building professionals can reduce planning, installation and rework time and costs – even retrofit without any disruption. These switches and sensors can be integrated into building automation systems and have already been successfully deployed in over 100,000 buildings across the globe.
The alliance will also be offering two CPD Courses entitled “Self-powered wireless sensors & switches for sustainable buildings”. The training sessions are free to attend but require pre-registration.
