Oscilloscope software downloadable for free
LONDON Pico Technology has enhanced its PicoScope personal computer oscilloscope software.
A reference waveforms feature enables the display of stored waveforms or math channels alongside live data. To add a reference waveform, a button is clicked and the channel to be stored selected. Up to eight waveforms, reference or live, can be built up in each scope view, and as many scope views as needed can be opened.
The other major addition is XY mode. This allows the plotting of one or more input channels against another, or against a math channel or reference waveform. This can be used to display the I-V curve of a component, or to indicate the phase relationship between two periodic signals.
