Oxford Semiconductor expands in to Taiwan

London, UK — Oxford Semiconductor is opening of an office in Taipei to provide local commercial and technical support to the company's expanding market in China.

Gene Lin has joined as regional sales manager while Hung Chi takes the role of technical applications manager. They will report to Oxford Semi's Asia sales manager, William Wong

Increased sales of its FireWire/IDE bridge ICs and UART products have seen the company produce continuous growth in the region since the company established its Singapore office in 2000.

William Wong, said, “As well as helping to improve local customer service, the Taiwan office will provide us with the market intelligence we need to proactively respond to rapidly changing customer demands.”
