LONDON Profibus U.K. is looking for papers to be presented at its annual international user conference which will be held at Coombe Abbey, Warwickshire on June 26 – 27, 2007.
The organizers sat that feedback received after the last two events indicated that the conference should continue to focus on the user community. Consequently the 2007 conference will concentrate on the real issues of implementation, maintenance and management of Profibus and Profinet systems.
The conference is designed for engineers, managers and indeed anyone concerned with the real issues of implementing fieldbus and/or industrial Ethernet technologies. The conference program will contain a mixture of presentations, demonstrations and hands-on practical sessions suited to a wide variety of experience; from first-time users to those with extensive experience with working systems.
The papers committee is seeking proposals for papers from speakers who are willing to make a short (30/40 minute) presentation on applications and other user aspects. Topics can include system design, commissioning and maintenance and can cover any application area or industry sector. Interactive presentations featuring live demonstrations and hands-on activities will be particularly welcome.
They are also seeking proposals for papers covering the latest developments in Profibus and Profinet technology as well as case studies illustrating their use in real world applications.
Proposals for presentations comprising a working title and 50 to 150-word abstract and brief biography should be sent to The Papers Committee to arrive no later than January 15, 2007.
