LONDON Pelikon has appointed Charlotte Fionda as marketing manager with the task of building the company's profile as a leading manufacturer of display and interface products and technology.
After studying psychology at Liverpool University, Fionda started her marketing career with white goods manufacturer General Domestic Appliances. Working on established brands Hotpoint, Creda, Cannon and GE. She then moved on to work for Nokia, in their mobile phones division. During her six years with Nokia her responsibilities included trade marketing, online and direct marketing activity.
Hugh Baker-Smith, Pelikon's Director of Sales and Marketing, said, “Charlotte joins the company at a very exciting time. Not only are we extending our reach internationally, but Pelikon is also gearing up for an AIM floatation in the next eighteen months. Charlotte's experience in the white goods and mobile telecommunications industries will be a considerable asset as we develop our global customer base in these and other markets.”
