LONDON Quadros Systems, the supplier of configurable and scaleable real-time operating systems (RTOS), has appointed Kevin Pope as Quadros general manager for the U.K. and Ireland. This hiring completes the sales and support structure for Quadros Systems across all of Europe, complementing a direct sales and support office in Germany and specialized distributors in Scandinavia, France, and Italy.
Pope comes to Quadros with extensive RTOS and protocol stack experience with OSE Systems (Enea) and Interpeak. He has spent thirteen years in the embedded market, recently serving in positions such as managing director of OSE Systems UK and sales manager at Interpeak in the US before returning to the U.K.

Pope begain his career as a software engineer in the UK defense communications industry. He went on to hold positions with leading companies in the embedded systems market, such as Reflex Technology, Pacific Softworks, OSE, Interpeak, Unicoi and DHS Tools.
During his time managing OSE Systems, the U.K. office grew from channel distribution to a direct sales team offering a full range of services such as training, technical support, on-site consultancy as well as the standard product offering.
