Potentia picks Spectrum network for Europe

LONDON — Potentia Semiconductor has signed a pan-European representative agreement with the UK-based Spectrum Electronics Group of independent sales, marketing and operations (I.S.M.O.) organisations. The deal involves seven Spectrum Group members and covers the Benelux countries, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Baltic states, the Nordic countries, Greece, Turkey, Portugal, Spain and the UK & Ireland.

Ian McGill, Potentia’s VP business development & marketing, said, “Spectrum’s unique I.S.M.O. business model has exhibited remarkable success in creating demand for proprietary semiconductor technologies in established and emerging European markets. I’m confident that Spectrum will apply every aspect of its sales and marketing expertise to ensure that Potentia achieves its European business objectives.”

Potentia Semiconductor supplies configurable power system ICs that use the PowerCenter design environment to creating and validate custom power system management strategies.
