LONDON Quantum Research Group has appointed Duncan Bryan to boost the company’s drive for licensing deals for its charge-transfer (QT) capacitive touch company with semiconductor companies.
Bryan moves to Quantum (Southampton, England) from Beach Solutions where he was alliances and partnerships director. Prior to this he spent 8 years at ARM, primarily in the development systems business unit, where he held software engineering, product management, partnership development and IP licensing roles.
Hans van der Linde, whose appointment to set up the licensing business unit at Quantum was announced earlier this year, will focus on developing licensing deals with end customers for the company’s charge-transfer touch screen and touch control technologies.
Quantum is planning to open an office in Cambridge by the end of the year with a view to attracting more design and marketing talent to the business, which is maintaining annual growth rates in excess of 80 percent.
