MAIDENHEAD, England Micromark C&CD has expanded its range of fixing and fastenings for electronics applications through a new partnership with Richco for its range of plastic components.
Alan Jermyn, marketing director, Micromark C&CD, said, “With over 25,000 line items, Richco has one of the world's biggest ranges of hardware for electronics and telecoms, and is known around the world for its quality and service. The partnership significantly broadens our portfolio in this area, allowing us to supply more of our customers needs from a single source. Richco complements our existing electromechanical and hardware franchises, such as Tyco, Weidmuller, Hirose, Schaffner, Aavid and Varta.”
Micromark will provide in-depth ex-stock support for popular items from the Richco range, including circuit board hardware, card guides, rivets, latches, cable ties, wire routing accessories, insulators, grommets and fibre optic cable management.
Recent additions to the Richco range include hinged saddles for routing wires or fibre optic cable without the need for crimping of cables during insertion or removal, and an adhesive wire clip. Also new is an IP67 sealed liquid tight grommet to allow cable entry into protected enclosures, a fibre connector extraction tool for high density SC installations and a compact vertical mount card guide.
