London, UK Tera Systems, a provider of register transfer level (RTL) design-planning productivity tools for integrated circuits and systems, has opened a UK-based European headquarters in Biddenham, Bedfordshire.
Larry Rawstorne has joined the company as general manager for Europe after stints at LogicVision and C-Level Design, where he served as general manager and established European operations. He previously held management positions at Synopsys and Texas Instruments.

Elsewhere Tera is expanding its sales channels in the US south-central region by naming Design Automation Solutions of Austin, Texas, as its representative there. In Tokyo, Tera is adding technical personnel at its Nihon Tera Systems K.K. office.
