According to Evoc, the developer of the 104-1812CLD2N single-board computer (SBC), the board is the first PC/104 SBC Intel's Atom processor. The N270 Atom CPU consumes just 4 W. Hence, the platform can operate without a fan in a wide temperature range (-40°C to +85°C). This makes it suitable for such applications as military, medical care, communications, and transportation.
Features of the 104-1812CLD2N include 512 Mbytes on-board DDR2 memory (expandable to 1 Gbyte) and an MTTF of 50,000 hours. It adopts Intel's 945GSE integrated graphics card, supporting dual displays (VGA+LVDS) with an 18-bit dual-channel LVDS port. It can withstand the impact of 3.5-G force. Support is included for SATA, PATA, and CF cards. More information is available at www.evoc.com.
