LONDON Rod Taylor (right), founder and chairman of the Seaward Group of Companies, has become president of GAMBICA, the trade association for instrumentation, control, automation and laboratory technology sectors, for the next two years. Taylor takes over from Graeme Philp, Chief Executive, MTL Instruments Group plc.
Taylor is a previous CBI Regional Chairman and has chaired a number of organisations involved in technology and innovation. He was born in Nairobi, Kenya, educated at the University of Nottingham and is a Fellow of the IET.
GAMBICA has a membership of over 200 companies.
