London, UK Sequoia Sensors has signed three agreements to supply Vatell heat flux sensors, together worth in excess of £2.5 million over a period of four years.
There are two separate agreements with the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS), one covering the supply of sensors to the new Ariane 5 high payload rocket, and one covering the supply of sensors to the new Airbus 380. The third agreement is with Team McLaren.
Nick Lidington, managing director of Sequoia Technology said, “We have worked with EADS through its rigorous qualification processes which are some of the most demanding in the world, and were able to fully satisfy them that we were able to partner with them at the level that they expect to see.”
Phil Prosser of Vatell Corporation said, “Sequoia's achievement in winning contracts with companies of this profile is exceptional.”
