London, England — Numerix Ltd. is offering a free version of its DSP library called SigLib. The library is targeted at educational applications and is also suitable for the evaluation of SigLib in commercial applications.
Included in the library is support for the following devices/compilers: Windows DLL (compiler independent), Microsoft Visual C++, Borland C++, Texas Instruments C6000, Starcore, LSI Logic ZSP, PocketPC Intel/ARM via Microsoft Embedded, Visual C++ and the Analog Devices SHARC DSP.

Written in ANSI C but with a great deal of emphasis on performance, SigLib is known for its ease of portability allowing development and deployment to be undertaken on completely disparate architectures. Due to the nature of its portability, SigLib, has become very popular in speech and data communications products.
