Houston, Texas – BSQUARE Corp. has developed a Windows Embedded CE 6.0 board support package (BSP) for the OMAP35x evaluation module (EVM) from Texas Instruments.
Targeting industrial, automotive and consumer applications, the BSP provides a free source code offering for Windows Embedded CE-based designs.
The BSP integrates a Windows Embedded CE 6.0 Pro kernel, DirectShow Filters, Visual Tools plug-in, EVM Flash tool and full support for DVI and S-Video. The Windows Embedded CE image is built through component addition rather than footprint reduction, an approach that results in faster implementation.
The OMAP35x EVM is available from TI for $1495. For more information about the free BSQUARE Windows CE BSP, go to www.ti.com/omapwince. Engineering support and training as well as the DVT, Adobe Flash Lite 3 and SDIO HX pricing areavailable from BSQUARE at www.bsquare.com/omap3
