SPICE simulation app comes to iPad

National Instruments has just made available for download from Apple's App Store a new iPad app called Multisim Touch for design and simulation of circuits using high-fidelity SPICE simulation results identical to the desktop.

Multisim Touch offers powerful analysis tools in a tablet environment with a specialized library of RLC components, transistors, operational amplifiers and other foundational electronic devices using SPICE simulation models.

With the $5 app users can innovate wherever they are by building circuits easily with multitouch gestures and verifying them with DC, AC, transient and interactive simulation.

As part of the complete Multisim circuits design environment, users can explore design and simulation options on the Apple device, such as a tablet, then export via Dropbox or email back to the desktop version of Multisim to share or incorporate into designs with others.
