LONDON Texim Europe BV (Haaksbergen, Netherlands) is to sell Maestro Wireless Solutions Ltd's (Hong,Kong, China) GSM/GPRS terminal products.
Since 2003 more than 100,000 wireless modems have been sold under the Maestro brand name.
Maestro is currently developing its Heritage series of quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE modem using different option boards including I/O expander, Ethernet, C-GPS that will enable a hardware and software combination for different applications. Users could also develop their own cards.
Already available are the Maestro 100 series of external industrial quad band GSM/GPRS modems with programmable internal CPU and RS232 connectivity. Four versions are available 100 ECO with GSM only, 100 and 100 Lite with GSM, GPRS and TCP/IP and 100 EXT with extended temperature. They are available in metal or plastic casing and are suitable for monitoring and control, automatic meter reading, SCADA solutions, automatic vehicle location, security systems, and sales and payment units.
The Maestro industrial range is a cellular wireless modem combining a self-maintenance capability and a programmable logic controller-like functionality. It comes in a rugged metal casing with status LEDs, optional DIN rail mounting and battery back up capability.
Texim Europe, is part of the Technical Trading Division of the TKH Group NV, a Dutch public company. It has sales offices in Belgium, Germany, U.K. and Denmark, uses the former Eurodis infrastructure with around 100 employees.
