The Celoxica DK design suite provides a C-based language design environment for Xilinx's Spartan-3 platform FPGAs. Using the Celoxica tools, designers can partition designs between hardware and software, verify the system using high-level languages, and synthesize from C-based models to Xilinx Spartan-3 devices.
The Celoxica methodology employs higher-level languages such as C, C++, System-C, and Handel-C to raise design abstraction. The common language base facilitates movement of design functionality between hardware and software implementations as developers search for the optimal design partition.
The suite also provides cycle-accurate simulation of C-based models and co-simulation with RTL simulators and models developed in the Matlab/Simulink environment. The Celoxica DK design suite is available now.
