Insyde Software, Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) firmware provider, has announced the availability of InsydeH2O UEFI BIOS support for HD Internet Technology from AMD, powered by AMD C-Series Accelerated Processing Units (APUs) and AMD Radeon HD 6000 Series Graphics.
The solution is said to incorporate a number of compelling features such as: long battery life, low power consumption and improved graphics performance. In addition, InsydeH2O delivers fast boot times, ranging between 5 and 6 seconds using Insyde's patented BlinkBoot technology.
The first AMD Fusion APUs will be available for consumers in OEM systems in early 2011. These systems will be marketed to consumers as a part of VISION Technology from AMD.
