LONDON Willtek Communications has opened an office in Cheadle Hulme near Manchester as a base for its U.K. operations. It will provide the sales, repair, calibration and support services previously provided from its Chessington facility, which will close on May 3, 2005.
Willtek is moving to the Manchester area in order to be centrally located to the majority of its customers and believes it will provide a minimum service turn-around time.
Willtek says that in some cases and by prior arrangement, customers may turn in their instruments for calibration in the morning and take it home in the afternoon, to avoid losing time in their production and repair centres.
