LONDON Ezurio, a U.K. developer of short range wireless machine-to-machine (M2M) solutions, has established Ezurio Inc based in Mahwah, New Jersey.
Ezurio (Woburn Green, England) provides intelligent Bluetooth and wireless LAN products, as well as cellular-free telematics and medical platforms. One of the company's senior field sales engineers will be relocating Mahwah to provide direct applications support to customers, backed up by the R&D department in the U.K.
“I've found it difficult to believe how eagerly U.S. Companies have embraced wireless”, said Kent Wardley, president of Ezurio Inc. “A few years ago there was the widespread belief that the U.S. was lagging behind Europe in short range wireless deployment. This level of interest shows that not only have they caught up, but are challenging the rest of the world with their level of innovation.”
Ezurio was founded in September 2004 as a management spin-out of TDK Systems Europe. Investment in the company is from the management team and venture capital firm 3i. The company provides services from the capture of data through secure communication over wireless networks by way of the internet to a middleware platform that is either user hosted or accessed over secure connections from its dedicated web farm.
