LONDON XJTAG, a supplier of boundary scan development and test solutions, has bolstered its technical team with the appointment of Karl Miles to the position of field application engineer.
Miles will provide technical support to XJTAG’s growing customer base in the UK and will also spearhead business development for the Cambridge-based company. He joins XJTAG from BAE Systems where he was a lead hardware engineer working on the qualification and production phases of Eurofighter. Prior to joining BAE Systems in 2002, Miles spent five years with Nortel Networks as a senior digital hardware engineer.
Simon Payne, XJTAG’s chief executive officer, said, “We needed someone with strong technical skills to support our rapidlygrowing customer sites across the UK and Karl has all the attributes we were looking for. He is a highly qualified hardware engineer that has experience of circuit design, debug and testing boards with JTAG devices such as FPGAs.
