LONDON Yokogawa has merged the activities of its two main operating companies in the Netherlands, Yokogawa Nederland B.V. and Yokogawa System Center Europe B.V. under the new name of Yokogawa Europe Solutions B.V.
The combined industrial automation group will move in to a new building in Amersfoort at the end of 2008. The new premises will also house the regional head office for Europe and Africa.
“The merger enables us to focus on providing control and automation solutions across industries such as oil andgas, power, and petro-chemical,” said Will de Groot, Managing Director of Yokogawa Europe Solutions B.V.
The expansion of the branch offices throughout Europe and Africa sees the former Yokogawa Nederland N.V become Yokogawa Europe Branches B.V. and will also be housed in the new premises.
The European headquarters of Yokogawa were founded in Amersfoort in 1982 and the company has sales, serviceand engineering operations throughout Europe with the network extended to Central and East Europe and Southern Africa.
Yokogawa develops and produces flowmeters at Rota Yokogawa in Germany and liquid analysers and industrial safety systems in the Netherlands.
